The Main House accommodates two sleepers in a bedroom off the side porch providing a convenient separate outdoor entry.  This room includes two twin beds and a bath with shower.

The Cottage includes a living room, two bedrooms with twin beds, sunroom with twin daybeds, a kitchen and full bath with tub and shower.  Each room has a fantastic view of the wooded property.  This cottage is original to the property and was restored keeping all of the original floorboards and windows.  The front porch provides a relaxing place to sit on porch swings and enjoy nature.  This building can sleep up to eight people.

The bird watching deck is nestled in the trees and overlooking the bayou.  You can paint, meditate, or enjoy watching the sunrise or moonrise.

The “Sunday” House accommodates two people and features a room with a queen size bed and   twin bed. The full bath includes a claw foot tub and shower.  Vintage stained glass windows and vintage fixtures make this a special place.  This building has a front porch with swing looking out toward the bayou.

The Tree House is upstairs with outside stairs and entry.  It includes two twin beds, a full bath with tub and shower, and apartment size refrigerator.  The skylights provide the feeling of sleeping under the giant oak tree.

You can enjoy two outdoor “rain” showers during your stay.  Each is surrounded by a privacy fence.  One of the showers is located between the Studio and Jackson’s shed.  The other shower is located between the Cottage and “Sunday” House and includes a tin bathtub surrounded by vintage stained glass windows.  The showers are stocked with bath salts, shampoo/conditioner, shower sandals, and shower gels.

The Chapel is a tiny chapel in the woods filled with a hand painted “retablo” wall and vintage benches.  It can be used for prayer, meditation or simply to enjoy the artwork and collection of donated items left by many visitors.

Jackson’s Shed, next to the art studio, has sleeping room for two or three people.  The bath has a a claw foot tub and shower, recycled tin ceiling, beaded wood walls, and vintage fixtures and lighting.

photo-30The Studio is a working art studio.  It is used for ongoing art classes and art retreats/workshops.  It includes an open kitchen area and full bath.  The Studio is equipped with both standing and table easels, tables, and lights for up to 20 students.  There are ample electric outlets.  It is filled with light provided by banks of windows and north facing skylights.

All of our accommodations have central heat/AC.   Toiletries, towels, linens and robes are provided.  Each guest is provided with a foot-soaking tub, bath sheet and hair wrap.  Hair dryers are available in each of the buildings.  Morning coffee/tea is served on the outdoor deck, weather permitting, or in the Studio.  Massage therapists are available to come on site with advanced notice.
